The next phase of the Pongo project is upon us!
After over 17 months of bi-weekly articles, tremendous feedback from all of you, and a desire to continue educating the world on blockchain and beyond, I’m pleased to present a shift in the Pongo universe:
Pongo Points is moving to a digest format, where I share and summarize the most interesting articles across AI, energy, crypto, and beyond.

Pongo Points started out as a means to express my thoughts on the ever-changing crypto universe, especially as it relates to the “outside” world. Since the start of my crypto journey in 2013, I’ve learned a lot about the technology of the industry, its applications, and, of course, the scams. It’s my hope that I’ve offered those who are uninterested in the minutiae of crypto a peek into what the technology can do, why it’s valuable, and how to navigate the complex and fraud-ridden landscape.
Along the way, I’ve found that a lot of my time is spent reading. It’s one thing to read the news articles about the wars, the crises, and the constant feed of negativity. But it’s another thing to read about a diverse set of fields and slowly come to an understanding of how they interconnect. I’m by no means the world’s foremost expert on energy, artificial intelligence, or even crypto, but I’m confident enough in my understanding of all of them to be able to link their common threads.
That’s what the new Pongo Points is all about: Identifying and associating the themes that connect the building blocks of the future. It’s understandable why the majority of the world might be more interested in a war over a breakthrough in nuclear technology. One is an immediate travesty that appeals to our negativity bias, while the other is a distant reality. However, it’s critical that we all deepen our understanding of the technologies that will shape the world of tomorrow. If not, we risk progress.
The existing long-format thought pieces will continue, however they will be under a new name (as you may have noticed). Pongo’s Perspective will continue to deliver you digestible bits of blockchain, crypto, AI, and cutting edge tech. They will shift from a bi-weekly to a less regular schedule, so as to improve the overall quality and protect my sanity.
